‘मोदी@25’ के जश्न की तैयारी, देशव्यापी कार्यक्रमों का रोडमैप तय करेगी बीजेपी

नई दिल्ली: भारतीय जनता पार्टी प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के सार्वजनिक जीवन के 25 वर्ष पूरे होने के अवसर पर देशव्यापी अभियान की तैयारी में जुट गई है। ‘मोदी@25’ के तहत आयोजित होने वाले कार्यक्रमों की रूपरेखा और रणनीति को अंतिम रूप देने के लिए बीजेपी 22 अगस्त को नई दिल्ली में अहम बैठक करेगी। बैठक में बीजेपी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष नितिन नबीन, राष्ट्रीय संगठन महामंत्री बीएल संतोष और कार्यक्रम प्रभारी विनोद तावड़े शामिल होंगे।

इसके अलावा राज्यों के बीजेपी अध्यक्ष, संगठन महामंत्री और विभिन्न राज्यों के प्रभारी भी बैठक में भाग लेंगे। बैठक में देशभर में आयोजित किए जाने वाले कार्यक्रमों और गतिविधियों की विस्तृत योजना पर चर्चा की जाएगी। यह अभियान प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के सार्वजनिक जीवन में सेवा, सुशासन, विकास और अंत्योदय से जुड़े 25 वर्षों को केंद्र में रखकर चलाया जाएगा।

7 सितंबर से शुरू होगा ‘सेवा संकल्प महोत्सव’

बीजेपी प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के सार्वजनिक जीवन के 25 वर्ष पूरे होने पर ‘सेवा संकल्प महोत्सव’ नाम से एक बड़े राष्ट्रव्यापी अभियान की तैयारी कर रही है। अभियान की शुरुआत 7 सितंबर से होगी और लगभग 15 दिनों तक देशभर में विभिन्न कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाएंगे। इन कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से प्रधानमंत्री मोदी की सार्वजनिक जीवन की यात्रा के साथ सेवा, सुशासन, विकास और अंत्योदय के विषयों को लोगों तक पहुंचाने की योजना है।

स्वच्छता अभियान से रक्तदान शिविर तक होंगे आयोजन

‘मोदी@25’ अभियान के तहत कई जनसंपर्क और सेवा आधारित कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाएंगे। इनमें—

स्वच्छता अभियान
रक्तदान शिविर
वृक्षारोपण अभियान
स्वास्थ्य शिविर
सरकारी कल्याणकारी योजनाओं की जानकारी देने वाले विशेष शिविर जैसे कार्यक्रम शामिल होंगे।

बुद्धिजीवियों और युवाओं से संवाद

इसके अलावा ‘नरेंद्र मोदी के 25 वर्ष’ विषय पर डिजिटल और फोटो प्रदर्शनी भी आयोजित की जाएंगी, जिनमें प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के सार्वजनिक जीवन और शासनकाल से जुड़े प्रमुख पड़ावों को प्रदर्शित किया जाएगा। बीजेपी की योजना के तहत सुशासन, विकास और अंत्योदय जैसे विषयों पर बुद्धिजीवी सम्मेलन आयोजित किए जाएंगे। युवाओं और समाज के विभिन्न वर्गों के साथ संवाद कार्यक्रम भी अभियान का हिस्सा होंगे।

पार्टी विशेष शिविरों के माध्यम से केंद्र और राज्य सरकारों की विभिन्न जनकल्याणकारी योजनाओं के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाने और लोगों को इन योजनाओं तक पहुंच उपलब्ध कराने की भी तैयारी कर रही है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने वर्ष 2001 में गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्री के रूप में अपना कार्यकाल शुरू किया था और बाद में राष्ट्रीय राजनीति में सक्रिय भूमिका निभाई। वर्ष 2014 में प्रधानमंत्री बनने के बाद उन्होंने लगातार तीन आम चुनावों में जीत हासिल कर केंद्र में सरकार बनाई।

BJP Set to Finalise Nationwide Roadmap for ‘Modi@25’ Celebrations

New Delhi, India: The BJP will hold a meeting in New Delhi tomorrow (August 22) to discuss and finalise the roadmap for programmes to be organised across the country as part of the 'Modi@25' celebrations, marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 25 years in public life. BJP national president Nitin Nabin, national organisation general secretary BL Santosh and programme in-charge Vinod Tawde will attend the meeting.

State BJP presidents, organisation general secretaries and state in-charges will also participate in the meeting. The meeting will focus on deliberations over the nationwide programmes and activities planned under 'Modi@25', commemorating Prime Minister Modi's 25 years of public service.

The BJP is preparing a mega nationwide campaign, 'Seva Sankalp Mahotsav', to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing 25 years in public service on October 7. The celebrations would commence on September 7 and will be held across the country for around 15 days, with a series of programmes highlighting the Prime Minister's journey in public life and his emphasis on service, good governance, development and Antyodaya.

As part of the nationwide celebrations, several public outreach and service-oriented programmes will be organised, including cleanliness drives, blood donation camps, tree plantation drives and health camps. Digital and photo exhibitions on the theme '25 Years of Narendra Modi' will also be organised across the country, showcasing key milestones of his public life and governance.

The BJP will further organise intellectuals' conferences focusing on good governance, development and Antyodaya, along with dialogue programmes involving youth and various sections of society. Special camps will also be organised to create awareness about various welfare schemes and facilitate public access to government welfare initiatives.

The campaign is aimed at commemorating Prime Minister Modi's 25 years in public service through a nationwide celebration centred on the themes of 'seva, good governance, development and public welfare'. Starting his term as the Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2001, Narendra Modi transitioned to national politics. He became the Prime Minister in 2014. Having secured three consecutive general election victories, he has become the longest continuously serving democratically elected Prime Minister.

PM CARES Fund पर खड़गे के सवाल, बोले- 8,452 करोड़ जमा तो सिर्फ 87.85 लाख क्यों खर्च?

नई दिल्ली: कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे (Mallikarjun Kharge) ने PM CARES Fund की वित्तीय स्थिति को लेकर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी पर निशाना साधा है। 2024-25 की वित्तीय रिपोर्ट का हवाला देते हुए खड़गे ने फंड में जमा राशि और साल के दौरान हुए खर्च को लेकर जवाबदेही की मांग की।

खड़गे ने सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म X पर एक पोस्ट में दावा किया कि वित्त वर्ष 2024-25 के अंत में PM CARES Fund का क्लोजिंग बैलेंस करीब 8,452 करोड़ रुपये था, जबकि पूरे वर्ष के दौरान केवल 87.85 लाख रुपये खर्च किए गए। उन्होंने सवाल उठाया कि आपात स्थितियों के लिए बनाए गए फंड में हजारों करोड़ रुपये जमा क्यों किए जा रहे हैं, जबकि उसके मुकाबले बेहद कम राशि खर्च की गई। खड़गे के अनुसार, 2024-25 में खर्च फंड के क्लोजिंग बैलेंस का लगभग 0.01 प्रतिशत रहा।

'चंदा चोरी' वाले बयान से साधा निशाना

कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष ने अपने पोस्ट में राम मंदिर ट्रस्ट का भी जिक्र किया और प्रधानमंत्री मोदी पर तीखा राजनीतिक हमला किया। उन्होंने लिखा, "PM does not CARE: Public Authority Without Public Accountability?" इसके साथ ही उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि PM CARES Fund और राम मंदिर ट्रस्ट दोनों प्रधानमंत्री मोदी की निगरानी में घोषित हुए और दोनों को चंदा मिलता है। खड़गे ने इसी संदर्भ में "चंदा चोरी" शब्द का इस्तेमाल करते हुए प्रधानमंत्री से जवाबदेही की मांग की।

RTI और CAG को लेकर भी सवाल

खड़गे ने PM CARES Fund की जवाबदेही और निगरानी की व्यवस्था पर भी सवाल उठाए। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि यह फंड RTI के दायरे में नहीं आता और न ही CAG ऑडिट या संसद की सामान्य जवाबदेही व्यवस्था के अधीन है। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री इस फंड के चेयरमैन हैं, जबकि रक्षा, गृह और वित्त मंत्री इसके ट्रस्टी हैं। खड़गे के मुताबिक फंड में CSR योगदान और टैक्स में छूट वाले दान भी स्वीकार किए जाते हैं।

खड़गे ने पूछे दो सवाल

खड़गे ने प्रधानमंत्री से विशेष रूप से दो सवाल पूछे। पहला, प्रधानमंत्री के नाम वाले फंड को सार्वजनिक जांच की सामान्य व्यवस्था से बाहर क्यों रखा गया है?दूसरा, जब यह आपातकालीन फंड है और 2024-25 में उसके क्लोजिंग बैलेंस का महज 0.01 प्रतिशत खर्च हुआ, तो इसमें हजारों करोड़ रुपये जमा होने का क्या औचित्य है?

विदेशी और घरेलू दान से जुटाई गई राशि

खड़गे द्वारा साझा किए गए वित्तीय विवरण के अनुसार, वित्त वर्ष 2024-25 में PM CARES Fund को घरेलू और विदेशी स्रोतों से दान प्राप्त हुआ। इसके अलावा बैंक बचत खातों और फिक्स्ड डिपॉजिट से ब्याज के जरिए भी आय हुई।

2020 में बनाया गया था PM CARES Fund

प्रधानमंत्री नागरिक सहायता और आपातकालीन स्थिति राहत कोष (PM CARES Fund) को आपात और संकट की परिस्थितियों में सहायता उपलब्ध कराने के उद्देश्य से बनाया गया था। इसका गठन COVID-19 महामारी के दौरान राहत और सहायता के लिए विशेष रूप से चर्चा में आया था। यह ट्रस्ट 27 मार्च 2020 को नई दिल्ली में Registration Act, 1908 के तहत पंजीकृत किया गया था। इसका उद्देश्य राष्ट्रीय संकटों के दौरान योगदान प्राप्त करना और जरूरतमंदों तक सहायता पहुंचाने के लिए धन का उपयोग करना है।

नई दिल्ली: प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के स्वतंत्रता दिवस के संबोधन में ‘दिमागी नक्सल’ को लेकर दिए गए बयान पर सियासी घमासान तेज हो गया है। आम आदमी पार्टी (AAP) के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक और दिल्ली के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने पीएम मोदी पर पलटवार करते हुए खुद को ‘दिमागी नक्सली’ बताया है। केजरीवाल ने कहा कि उन्हें इस बात पर गर्व है, क्योंकि वह देशभक्त हैं।

अरविंद केजरीवाल ने सोशल मीडिया पर एक वीडियो जारी कर प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के बयान पर प्रतिक्रिया दी। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री के हिसाब से जो व्यक्ति देश में सवाल उठाने की हिम्मत करता है, वह ‘दिमागी नक्सली’ है। केजरीवाल ने अपने बयान में सरकारी स्कूलों और अस्पतालों को बेहतर बनाने, बिजली-पानी और सीवर जैसी बुनियादी सुविधाओं तथा भ्रष्टाचार मुक्त भारत की बात करने वालों को लेकर भी प्रधानमंत्री पर निशाना साधा।

‘व्यवस्था बदलना चाहते हैं तो दिमागी नक्सली?’

AAP संयोजक ने कहा कि जो व्यक्ति मौजूदा व्यवस्था को बदलना चाहता है, बेहतर सरकारी स्कूल और अस्पताल चाहता है और देश में अच्छी व्यवस्था की मांग करता है, उसे भी प्रधानमंत्री के नजरिए से ‘दिमागी नक्सली’ कहा जा सकता है। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि जो प्रधानमंत्री और बीजेपी से डरता नहीं है और विकसित भारत का सपना देखता है, वह भी इस परिभाषा के दायरे में आ सकता है।

भगत सिंह और बाबा साहेब आंबेडकर का भी लिया नाम

अरविंद केजरीवाल ने अपने पलटवार में स्वतंत्रता सेनानी भगत सिंह और संविधान निर्माता डॉ. भीमराव आंबेडकर का भी जिक्र किया। उन्होंने दावा किया कि अगर भगत सिंह और बाबा साहेब आंबेडकर आज जीवित होते और मौजूदा व्यवस्था पर सवाल उठाते, तो प्रधानमंत्री उन्हें भी ‘दिमागी नक्सली’ कह सकते थे।

केजरीवाल ने अपने वीडियो संदेश में कहा कि वह प्रधानमंत्री के हिसाब से ‘दिमागी नक्सली’ हैं क्योंकि वह देशभक्त हैं और उन्हें इस बात पर गर्व है। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि अगर देश के खिलाफ कोई कुछ करेगा या कुछ बोलेगा तो वह पूरी ताकत के साथ उसका मुकाबला करेंगे। अपने संदेश के अंत में केजरीवाल ने ‘जय हिंद’ कहा।

PM मोदी के बयान से शुरू हुआ विवाद

यह पूरा विवाद प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के 15 अगस्त के स्वतंत्रता दिवस संबोधन के बाद शुरू हुआ। प्रधानमंत्री ने अपने भाषण में सशस्त्र नक्सलवाद के साथ-साथ ‘दिमागी नक्सल’ की चुनौती का भी जिक्र किया था और ऐसे तत्वों की पहचान कर उन्हें अलग-थलग करने की बात कही थी। इसके बाद ‘दिमागी नक्सल’ शब्द को लेकर राजनीतिक बहस तेज हो गई है। केजरीवाल का ताजा बयान इसी राजनीतिक विवाद की अगली कड़ी माना जा रहा है।

नई दिल्ली: संसद का मानसून सत्र लगभग पूरी तरह हंगामे और विरोध-प्रदर्शनों की भेंट चढ़ता नजर आ रहा है। सत्र के आखिरी दिन भी संसद परिसर में सत्ता पक्ष और विपक्ष के बीच आमने-सामने प्रदर्शन हुआ। भाजपा और विपक्षी इंडिया गठबंधन (INDIA Bloc) के सांसदों ने संसद परिसर के मकर द्वार की सीढ़ियों पर अलग-अलग प्रदर्शन किए।

भाजपा सांसदों ने लोकसभा में विपक्ष के नेता राहुल गांधी को झारखंड में जारी छात्र आंदोलनों के मुद्दे पर निशाना बनाया। भाजपा का आरोप है कि कांग्रेस और राहुल गांधी ने झारखंड में छात्रों के विरोध-प्रदर्शन और पुलिस कार्रवाई के मुद्दे पर पर्याप्त प्रतिक्रिया नहीं दी। इसी को लेकर भाजपा सांसदों ने मकर द्वार पर प्रदर्शन किया।

विपक्षी सांसदों का भी प्रदर्शन

भाजपा के प्रदर्शन के बाद विपक्षी सांसदों ने भी संसद परिसर में विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। कांग्रेस सांसद पवन खेड़ा (Pawan Khera) के नेतृत्व में विपक्षी सांसदों को खिलौना बंदर के साथ नारेबाजी करते देखा गया। इस दौरान विपक्षी सांसदों ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और सरकार को निशाना बनाते हुए नारे लगाए।

सौगत राय बोले- सदन चलाना विपक्ष की जिम्मेदारी नहीं

तृणमूल कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ सांसद सौगत राय (Saugata Roy) ने कहा कि सदन चलाने की जिम्मेदारी विपक्ष की नहीं, बल्कि सरकार की है। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि विपक्ष सरकार से छात्र प्रदर्शन के दौरान हुई पुलिस कार्रवाई को लेकर स्पष्टीकरण चाहता था, लेकिन सरकार की ओर से अपेक्षित जवाब नहीं दिया गया। राय ने कहा कि सरकार को विपक्ष को समझाकर सदन चलाने के लिए सहमति बनानी चाहिए थी और मौजूदा स्थिति के लिए पूरी सरकार जिम्मेदार है।

कांग्रेस ने सरकार पर जवाबदेही नहीं निभाने का आरोप लगाया

कांग्रेस सांसद गुरजीत सिंह औजला (Gurjeet Singh Aujla) ने संसद के कामकाज बाधित होने के लिए सरकार को जिम्मेदार ठहराया। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार की ओर से जवाबदेही का अभाव रहा और गृह मंत्री अमित शाह (Amit Shah) ने सत्र के अंतिम दिन चर्चा के लिए तैयार होने की बात कही। औजला ने सवाल उठाया कि अगर सरकार चर्चा के लिए तैयार थी, तो पिछले कई दिनों में इस मुद्दे पर सदन में चर्चा क्यों नहीं हुई।

सपा सांसद जावेद अली खान ने भी उठाए सवाल

समाजवादी पार्टी के सांसद जावेद अली खान ने कहा कि यदि सरकार चर्चा के लिए तैयार है तो संबंधित मंत्री सदन में आकर बयान दे सकते हैं और स्पष्टीकरण दे सकते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि मंत्री के बयान को सदन की कार्यसूची में शामिल करने के लिए विपक्ष से अनुमति लेना आवश्यक नहीं होता। उन्होंने सत्र समाप्त होने से ठीक पहले चर्चा की पेशकश किए जाने पर सवाल उठाया।

सत्ता पक्ष ने राहुल गांधी को ठहराया जिम्मेदार

सत्ता पक्ष के सांसदों ने समानांतर प्रदर्शन करते हुए लोकसभा में विपक्ष के नेता राहुल गांधी पर सदन की कार्यवाही बाधित करने का आरोप लगाया। केंद्रीय मंत्री गिरिराज सिंह (Giriraj Singh) ने राहुल गांधी पर तीखा हमला करते हुए कहा कि संसद किसी व्यक्ति की निजी व्यवस्था के अनुसार नहीं चलती, बल्कि संसदीय नियमों और प्रक्रियाओं के अनुसार चलती है। उन्होंने राहुल गांधी पर राजनीतिक महत्वाकांक्षाओं को लेकर भी निशाना साधा और सरकार की ओर से किए गए विभिन्न संवैधानिक एवं कानूनी फैसलों का उल्लेख किया।

मानसून सत्र के पूरी तरह धुलने की आशंका

सत्ता पक्ष और विपक्ष दोनों अपने-अपने रुख पर कायम हैं। लगातार विरोध और हंगामे के कारण संसद के मानसून सत्र का अधिकांश हिस्सा प्रभावित हुआ है।मौजूदा स्थिति को देखते हुए सत्र के अनिश्चितकाल के लिए स्थगित (Sine Die) होने की संभावना है। यदि यही स्थिति बनी रहती है, तो संसद का मानसून सत्र प्रभावी विधायी कामकाज के लिहाज से लगभग पूरी तरह हंगामे की भेंट चढ़ सकता है।

New Delhi: Participating in the discussion on the Kerala (Alteration of Name) Bill, 2026 in the Rajya Sabha today, BJP National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Tarun Chugh extended his full support to the Bill and urged the House to pass it unanimously. Chugh said that this is not merely a matter of changing the name of a state, but an important step towards freeing independent India from the colonial legacy and the marks of slavery that were imposed upon it. He said that continuing to carry names and symbols imposed or popularised during colonial rule as though they represent the identity of free India is neither necessary nor acceptable.

Tarun Chugh said that those who ruled over us, enslaved our country and attempted to suppress India’s civilisational identity cannot continue to define the symbols through which a free India identifies itself. He said political independence cannot be limited to the transfer of power. True independence must also mean intellectual, cultural and civilisational freedom. Erasing the blot of slavery and restoring India’s own historical identity must be an essential part of this journey.

Chugh made it clear that this is not an attempt to rewrite history, but to move beyond identities altered, imposed or popularised under colonial rule and restore an identity rooted in our own history and culture. He said that India today is an independent and confident nation. Therefore, its constitutional identity must reflect a civilisation that takes pride in its own language, culture, traditions and history rather than continuing to carry the imprint of the colonial period in which India was subjugated.

Responding to those who ask, “What is in a name?”, Tarun Chugh said that the question is not what is in a name, but what all is contained in a name. He said a name is not merely a collection of letters. It carries historical memory, cultural consciousness, civilisational identity and the lived experience of an entire society. If the identity of a colonised country was altered or defined according to the convenience of its rulers, then reviewing and restoring that identity after independence is a natural step towards leaving behind the mentality of subjugation.

Tarun Chugh said that India achieved political independence from British rule in 1947, but many remnants of colonial thinking and symbols of slavery continued in public life for decades. He said the India of today is not prepared to accept this mental slavery. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is rediscovering confidence in its roots, languages, traditions and civilisational heritage. Removing the remaining colonial imprint is therefore not merely symbolic; it is a matter of national self-respect.

Chugh said that the journey from Kerala to Keralam is part of this larger national sentiment. It is not about imposing a new identity on a state, but constitutionally recognising an identity that has remained alive in the language and cultural memory of its people. He said ‘Keralam’ has long existed in popular usage and cultural consciousness. Therefore, this is not the creation of a new identity, but the restoration of an existing one to its rightful constitutional place.

Tarun Chugh said that the land of Keralam is also the sacred birthplace of Adi Shankaracharya, who strengthened India’s spiritual unity and gave a powerful expression to the country’s civilisational oneness. He said that from Kaladi, Acharya Shankara travelled across the country and strengthened the consciousness of an integrated India. This is an India whose identity was not created by any colonial power, but shaped over thousands of years by its civilisation. Independent India must therefore define itself through its own civilisational heritage, not through the imprint of foreign rule.

Chugh said that the marks of slavery are not confined to buildings, roads or place names; they can also survive in the collective mindset. If independent India continues to treat identities inherited from the colonial period as the final and unquestionable truth, then political independence risks coexisting with mental subjugation. India must decisively move beyond that mindset.

Responding to the Opposition’s argument that changing a name will not bring development, Tarun Chugh said development and national identity are not contradictory. Placing the figures before the House, he said that between 2004 and 2014, during the UPA period, Kerala received approximately ₹46,300 crore in tax devolution, whereas between 2014 and 2024, this increased to approximately ₹1.57 lakh crore. In grant-in-aid, Kerala received around ₹25,630 crore during the UPA decade, compared with ₹1,56,214 crore under the Modi Government, representing an increase of 509 per cent.

Tarun Chugh said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047 is not confined to economic growth. A developed India must also be mentally free, culturally confident and proud of its civilisational identity. He said India is progressing rapidly as a major global economy, but economic strength must be accompanied by the confidence to shed the remaining layers of colonial mentality.

Chugh congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah for taking forward this constitutional process. He said that restoring identities rooted in India’s own linguistic, historical and cultural traditions is part of the larger process of freeing the country from the remaining marks of colonial rule.

Chugh said that the meaning of independence cannot simply be that the British left India. Independence also means that Indians have the freedom to define their own identity, honour their own history and view their civilisation through their own eyes rather than through a colonial lens. Carrying the marks of slavery on our foreheads is not the destiny of free India. Erasing the blot of slavery, leaving colonial mentality behind and restoring India’s self-respect is the true meaning of honouring our independence.

Tarun Chugh urged all members of the House to rise above party politics and support this historic effort. He said that the journey from Kerala to Keralam is not merely a journey from one name to another. It is a journey from colonial mentality to self-respect, from the remnants of foreign rule to India’s own civilisational identity, and from the memories of subjugation towards a confident and self-assured India.

नई दिल्ली: राज्यसभा ने मंगलवार को अधिकरण सुधार विधेयक, 2026 (Tribunals Reforms Bill, 2026) पारित कर दिया। इस विधेयक का उद्देश्य देशभर में अधिकरणों के कामकाज, प्रशासन और सदस्यों की नियुक्ति प्रक्रिया में सुधार करना है। विधेयक में अधिकरणों के सदस्यों की नियुक्ति और सेवा शर्तों में पारदर्शिता तथा एकरूपता सुनिश्चित करने के साथ राष्ट्रीय अधिकरण आयोग (National Tribunals Commission) स्थापित करने का प्रस्ताव किया गया है।

केंद्रीय कानून एवं न्याय मंत्री अर्जुन राम मेघवाल ने राज्यसभा में चर्चा का जवाब देते हुए कहा कि प्रस्तावित राष्ट्रीय अधिकरण आयोग अधिकरण व्यवस्था में सुधारों का केंद्र होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि आयोग अधिकरणों के लिए एक स्वतंत्र, पारदर्शी और व्यवस्थित संस्थागत ढांचा उपलब्ध कराने की दिशा में काम करेगा। मेघवाल ने कहा कि जिस तरह सड़क, रेल, हवाई अड्डे और बंदरगाह देश के विकास के लिए जरूरी हैं, उसी तरह कानूनी बुनियादी ढांचा भी देश की प्रगति के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है।

विवादों के त्वरित निपटारे पर जोर

कानून मंत्री ने कहा कि विवादों के तेजी से निपटारे के लिए प्रभावी व्यवस्था का अभाव अभी भी एक बड़ी चुनौती है। उन्होंने कहा कि कुशल अधिकरण व्यवस्था भारत की आर्थिक प्रगति के लिए महत्वपूर्ण आधार है। सरकार का मानना है कि विशेषज्ञता वाले मामलों के लिए प्रभावी अधिकरण व्यवस्था से न्यायिक प्रक्रिया को अधिक व्यवस्थित और प्रभावी बनाया जा सकता है।

संविधान के अनुच्छेद 323A और 323B में अधिकरणों का आधार

मेघवाल ने बताया कि संविधान के अनुच्छेद 323A और 323B में अधिकरणों का संवैधानिक आधार दिया गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि अनुच्छेद 323A संसद को सरकारी सेवाओं से जुड़े मामलों के लिए प्रशासनिक अधिकरण स्थापित करने का अधिकार देता है। वहीं, अनुच्छेद 323B अन्य विशेष विषयों से संबंधित मामलों के लिए अधिकरण स्थापित करने का संवैधानिक ढांचा प्रदान करता है।

1941 में बना ITAT, अधिकरण व्यवस्था का पुराना उदाहरण

कानून मंत्री ने बताया कि भारत में अधिकरण व्यवस्था आजादी से पहले भी मौजूद थी। उन्होंने आयकर अपीलीय अधिकरण (Income Tax Appellate Tribunal- ITAT) का उदाहरण देते हुए कहा कि 1941 में स्थापित ITAT को अधिकरण व्यवस्था की शुरुआती और महत्वपूर्ण संस्थाओं में माना जाता है। उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि अधिकरणों का उद्देश्य नियमित अदालतों का स्थान लेना नहीं है। इनका उद्देश्य कराधान, कंपनी कानून, पर्यावरण, प्रतिभूति बाजार और बौद्धिक संपदा जैसे विशेषज्ञता वाले क्षेत्रों में विशेष न्यायिक व्यवस्था उपलब्ध कराना है।

नियुक्तियों में पारदर्शिता और एकरूपता का प्रस्ताव

अधिकरण सुधार विधेयक, 2026 में विभिन्न अधिकरणों के अध्यक्षों और सदस्यों की नियुक्ति प्रक्रिया में पारदर्शिता और एकरूपता लाने पर जोर दिया गया है।राष्ट्रीय अधिकरण आयोग के माध्यम से नियुक्तियों और अधिकरणों के प्रशासन के लिए अधिक संगठित संस्थागत व्यवस्था विकसित करने का प्रस्ताव है। यह विधेयक इससे एक दिन पहले सोमवार को लोकसभा से भी पारित हो चुका है। लोकसभा में विपक्ष के लगातार विरोध के बीच इसे बिना विस्तृत चर्चा के पारित किया गया।

विपक्षी सांसद केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह की सदन में मौजूदगी की मांग को लेकर विरोध कर रहे थे। सरकार का कहना है कि देश के आर्थिक विकास के साथ मजबूत और प्रभावी कानूनी बुनियादी ढांचा भी जरूरी है। अधिकरण सुधार विधेयक, 2026 के जरिए केंद्र सरकार अधिकरण व्यवस्था को अधिक स्वतंत्र, पारदर्शी, एकरूप और प्रभावी बनाने की दिशा में कदम उठा रही है। राज्यसभा से विधेयक पारित होने के बाद अब इसके आगे की विधायी प्रक्रिया पूरी की जाएगी।

BJP MP Anurag Thakur also criticised the Congress leader over the issue and said justice should be delivered to the protesting youth in Jharkhand. "Justice must be done for the youth of Jharkhand. The way they were subjected to lathi-charges and atrocities reveals the mindset of Rahul Gandhi," Thakur said.

He alleged that the incident reflected the alleged mistreatment of youth in a state governed by parties supporting Gandhi. Thakur also accused Rahul Gandhi and the Congress of demanding answers from the Union Home Minister while not attending the House. "The Home Minister is ready to provide answers, but Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party are peddling lies and making reckless statements merely to stay in the headlines," he said.

BJP MP Tarun Chugh also targeted Gandhi, alleging that he was "running away from the House" and remaining silent on the alleged lathi-charge against students in Jharkhand. "He should come to the House and answer on it," Chugh said. Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde said the Union Home Minister was ready to discuss the students' protest in Parliament, but alleged that the Opposition was preventing the House from functioning.

"The Home Minister is ready to hold a discussion in Parliament on the students' protest, but the Opposition is not letting the House function," Shinde said. BJP MP Jagadambika Pal also raised the issue of police action in Jharkhand. "The way the police have carried out the lathi charge, used water cannons in Jharkhand, but today they are silent on it?" Pal said.

He alleged that there was "chaos" in Parliament and said the Opposition was being exposed before the country through its silence on the Jharkhand student protests.

The remarks came amid an ongoing political dispute over the protests by JPSC and JSSC aspirants in Ranchi. The students have been demanding action over alleged irregularities in examinations and the recruitment process, including cancellation of the JSSC-CGL examination, a CBI probe and recruitment reforms. The Opposition and the government have also been at odds over the functioning of Parliament, with the NDA MPs accusing the Opposition of avoiding discussion while the Opposition has continued to raise issues concerning the government.

In a post on X, Kejriwal said, "Many BJP people spread this lie together yesterday. Did the order come from the PMO? Does the PMO spread lies in the country?"

The response from the AAP convenor comes after BJP MP Harbhajan Singh posted the video in question saying, "The evil eye has struck, my friend, on our Punjab... The governments have ruined Punjab and its Punjabi youth. It makes me want to cry seeing all this. Forgive my Punjab... Excuse Punjab. Where have they brought Punjab to? The Punjab that was once known for its rising fortunes, courage, and bravery--today, that same Punjab's youth is besieged by addictions. There's still time--save my Punjab. Save Punjab's youth."

The Punjab Police then fact-checked the BJP MP saying the shared video purpotedly originated from Rajasthan. "The video being circulated is from Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan--not Punjab--and has no connection with Punjab Police. A Punjabi audio track does not make an incident a Punjab incident. We urge users and social media accounts to verify the facts and location before posting misleading content or tagging Punjab Police," the Police said.

Earlier, on Sunday, Kejriwal, who is spearheading the party's campaign against E20 fuel, attacked the Modi government on the issue and said it is trying to prevent people from airing their voice. In a video posted on X, Kejriwal accused the government of trying to remove social media content critical of its E20 policy. Kejriwal, a former Delhi Chief Minister, said he wanted to talk about how the E20 fuel policy is being implemented in the country.

Reciting the joke in the video in his post, he said "a competition was held between the police forces" of US President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and PM Modi "to find a lion released in the jungle".

He said while the "police of Trump brought the lion in 24 hours and that of Putin in an hour, the police force of Modiji took days and during the search it was found that they were holding onto a dog, beating it severely, and asking it to say, 'I am a lion". This is the situation of the country that Modi ji has done. 140 crore people are being battered and are being told to say that 'E20 is right," he said.

"Anyone who raises a voice against E20... their page (is) taken down, their video deleted... FIR filed against them... How will you suppress 1.40 crore people?" he asked. AAP has tried to corner the government over the concerns related to ethanol-blended fuel. AAP has said that findings related to fuel quality and vehicle compatibility should be made public and people should have choice for fuel at petrol station including for getting conventional petrol.

Tarun Chugh Raises Punjab Drug Menace and Law & Order Issue in Rajya Sabha

Chandigarh, Punjab: BJP National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Tarun Chugh on Monday forcefully raised the issue of the deteriorating law and order situation and growing drug menace in Punjab during Zero Hour in the Rajya Sabha. Chugh said that Punjab, the land of Gurus, spiritual leaders and martyrs, is today under the threat of drug traffickers, gangsters and forces operating from across the border, while the Aam Aadmi Party government has completely failed to meet this challenge. He said this was not merely a matter of political allegations and counter-allegations, but a serious question concerning the future of an entire generation in Punjab and the security of the nation.

Citing the Crime in India 2024 report released by the Ministry of Home Affairs’ National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) in May 2026, Chugh said Punjab ranks first in the country with 6,060 cases of possession of narcotic substances for drug trafficking. He said deaths due to drug overdose increased from 89 in 2023 to 106 in 2024. Similarly, Punjab ranked first in the country with 1,356 snatching cases. The state recorded 1,079 murders and 48 incidents of jail escapes in a single year. Chugh said these are not allegations made by the Opposition, but official figures of the Government of India that bring out the seriousness of the present situation in Punjab.

Drawing the attention of the House to the national security dimension, Chugh said the drug and crime crisis in Punjab was no longer merely a law and order issue, but had also become a matter of national security. He said that according to the BSF, drones intercepted along the Punjab border increased from 21 in 2022 to 294 in 2024. These drones are being used to send heroin along with weapons, hand grenades and RDX into India. He said more than 21 grenade and explosive attacks have taken place since September 2024, most of them targeting police stations in border districts. Chugh said that when drugs and explosives are being sent across the border, the issue becomes a concern for the entire nation.

Chugh said the Punjab and Haryana High Court had described the drug situation in Punjab as a serious crisis in November 2025, yet the state government’s indifference continues. He said that according to a recent review by the Ministry of Home Affairs, nearly 60,000 NDPS cases are pending in Punjab, while not a single Special NDPS Court is operational in the state. Chugh said the government that came to power promising to eliminate drugs from Punjab has failed to establish an effective judicial mechanism, ensure security or provide adequate rehabilitation.

Through the House, Chugh urged the Central Government to take three concrete measures. He called for Special NDPS Courts in all drug-affected districts of Punjab, the highest priority to be accorded to deployment of an anti-drone system along the state’s 553-kilometre international border, and a high-level review of Punjab’s situation along with a special rehabilitation and employment package for youth in the border districts. Chugh said maintaining law and order is the constitutional responsibility of the state government, but given Punjab’s status as a border state, the issue is not merely a state concern but also a serious matter of national security.

जंतर मंतर पर छात्र प्रदर्शन को लेकर विपक्ष का हंगामा

विपक्षी सांसदों ने जंतर मंतर पर छात्रों के प्रदर्शन के दौरान कथित पुलिस कार्रवाई को लेकर सरकार से जवाब मांगा। विपक्ष का आरोप है कि 20 जुलाई को हुए छात्र प्रदर्शन के दौरान पुलिस ने बल प्रयोग किया था। विपक्षी सांसद इस मामले पर सदन में सरकार से स्पष्टीकरण की मांग कर रहे हैं। इसी मुद्दे को लेकर लोकसभा में हंगामा हुआ और कार्यवाही बाधित हुई।

राम मंदिर चंदा चोरी मामले पर भी विपक्ष ने मांगा जवाब

विपक्ष ने अयोध्या के राम मंदिर चंदा चोरी में कथित गड़बड़ी के आरोपों को लेकर भी सरकार से जवाब मांगा। विपक्षी सांसदों ने इस मुद्दे पर सदन में विस्तृत चर्चा की मांग की है। समाजवादी पार्टी (SP) सांसद अखिलेश यादव (Akhilesh Yadav) ने भी संसद के बाहर केंद्र सरकार पर निशाना साधा और Ayodhya में राम मंदिर से जुड़े कथित चंदा मामले पर जवाब मांगा।

अखिलेश यादव ने Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA) Amendment Bill को लेकर भी सरकार से सवाल किए। उन्होंने जंतर मंतर पर छात्र प्रदर्शन के दौरान कथित पुलिस कार्रवाई का जिक्र करते हुए कहा कि विपक्ष सरकार से इस मामले में जवाब मांग रहा है। अखिलेश यादव ने आरोप लगाया कि सरकार FCRA के जरिए संस्थाओं पर नियंत्रण स्थापित करने की कोशिश कर रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार को पहले विपक्ष द्वारा उठाए जा रहे सवालों का जवाब देना चाहिए।

John Brittas बोले- बिना जवाब दिए बिल लाना स्वीकार नहीं

CPI(M) सांसद John Brittas ने भी सरकार पर निशाना साधा। उन्होंने कहा कि विपक्ष ने 20 जुलाई के छात्र प्रदर्शन को लेकर सरकार से स्पष्टीकरण मांगा है।Brittas के मुताबिक, विपक्ष चाहता है कि इस घटना पर संसद में विस्तृत चर्चा हो। उन्होंने यह भी आरोप लगाया कि सरकार विपक्ष की चिंताओं का जवाब दिए बिना विधेयकों को आगे बढ़ाने की कोशिश कर रही है। उन्होंने FCRA से जुड़े प्रावधानों को लेकर भी चिंता जताई और इसे नागरिक समाज तथा अल्पसंख्यक संस्थाओं के लिए कठोर बताया।

मॉनसून सत्र में लगातार हो रहा व्यवधान

संसद के मॉनसून सत्र में पिछले कुछ दिनों से विपक्ष के विरोध के कारण कार्यवाही लगातार प्रभावित हुई है। उपलब्ध जानकारी के मुताबिक, लोकसभा में अब तक पारित आठ विधेयकों में से छह बिना चर्चा के पारित किए गए हैं। विपक्ष का कहना है कि महत्वपूर्ण विधेयकों पर पर्याप्त चर्चा होनी चाहिए, जबकि सरकार की ओर से विधायी कामकाज आगे बढ़ाने पर जोर दिया जा रहा है।

अब आगे क्या होगा?

विपक्ष के विरोध के बीच लोकसभा और राज्यसभा की कार्यवाही दोपहर 2 बजे तक स्थगित की गई है। सदन दोबारा शुरू होने के बाद भी जंतर मंतर छात्र प्रदर्शन, अयोध्या के राम मंदिर चंदा चोरी मामले और लंबित विधेयकों को लेकर हंगामा जारी रहने की संभावना है। चारों विधेयकों पर आगे की संसदीय प्रक्रिया विपक्ष के विरोध और सदन में होने वाली चर्चा पर निर्भर करेगी।

New Delhi, India: The four key Bills, including the Tribunals Reforms Bill, 2026, the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2026, the Kerala (Alteration of Name) Bill, 2026, and the National Co-operative Development Corporation (Amendment) Bill, 2026, were introduced in the Lok Sabha on Monday amid uproar by Opposition members.

The House was later adjourned till 2 pm as Opposition MPs continued protests demanding a response from the government over the police action during the students' protest at Jantar Mantar and the alleged theft of Ram temple donations. Lok Sabha proceedings have witnessed repeated disruptions during the Monsoon Session, with six of the eight Bills passed by the House cleared without a debate.

Earlier today, Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Akhilesh Yadav launched a scathing attack on the Centre over ongoing parliamentary deadlocks, demanding answers on the alleged donation embezzlement at Ayodhya's Ram Temple. Addressing the reporters, the former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister questioned the Centre on the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA) Amendment Bill.

"We ask the government the question of why lathis were used, tear gas shells were fired, and electric shocks were administered. Now they are introducing the FCRA. Yet, the Government of India and the BJP had assured us that Indian money would not flow out of the country. Countless people have taken vast sums of money out of India, both officially and unofficially... The truth is, they want to take over institutions. They are looking for ways to seize control of these institutions through the FCRA," Yadav said.

Additionally, CPI(M) MP John Brittas also said the Opposition has sought a clarification from the government over the Jantar Mantar student protest incident and alleged that the Centre was trying to bring Bills "by hook or crook" without addressing their concerns.

"...We asked for an explanation or a clarification with regard to the attack on the students on 20th, with regard to the student protest. Home Minister has consciously stayed away from the Parliament... Second is that we wanted to have a full-fledged discussion on the Ayodhya scam. The government hasn't considered. Now they want to bring all these bills either by hook or crook. This is not acceptable to the Opposition. And FCRA is something which has got draconian provisions, and I feel that it is to strangle civil society and the minorities," he said.

हैदराबाद, तेलंगाना: सोशल मीडिया पर ‘Rent Boyfriend’ के नाम से चल रहे कथित ऑनलाइन ऑफर्स को लेकर हैदराबाद पुलिस ने युवतियों और महिलाओं को सतर्क किया है। पुलिस के मुताबिक, साइबर ठग आकर्षक पोस्टर और ऑफर्स के जरिए महिलाओं को निशाना बना रहे हैं और बाद में बुकिंग, सिक्योरिटी डिपॉजिट या एडवांस पेमेंट के नाम पर पैसे ठग रहे हैं।

हैदराबाद के पुलिस कमिश्नर वीसी सज्जनार (V.C. Sajjanar) ने सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म X पर लोगों को इस नए साइबर फ्रॉड से सावधान रहने की अपील की। उन्होंने बताया कि Instagram, Telegram और Facebook जैसे प्लेटफॉर्म पर ‘Rent Boyfriend - Your Personal Companion’ जैसे नामों से विज्ञापन प्रसारित किए जा रहे हैं। इन पोस्ट में कॉफी मीटिंग, मूवी डेट, शॉपिंग, शादी या इवेंट में साथ जाने और कई घंटों के पैकेज तक के ऑफर दिखाए जाते हैं। कथित तौर पर इनकी कीमत ₹499 से लेकर ₹4,499 तक बताई जा रही है। ठग इन सेवाओं को प्राइवेट और सुरक्षित बताकर लोगों को Direct Message के जरिए संपर्क करने के लिए कहते हैं।

AI तस्वीरों से बनाया जाता है फर्जी प्रोफाइल

पुलिस के अनुसार, साइबर अपराधी कई बार AI-generated images या इंटरनेट से ली गई तस्वीरों का इस्तेमाल कर आकर्षक प्रोफाइल तैयार करते हैं। संपर्क करने के बाद वे भरोसा जीतने के लिए बातचीत करते हैं और फिर बुकिंग कन्फर्मेशन, सिक्योरिटी फीस या एडवांस भुगतान के नाम पर पैसे मांगते हैं।भुगतान के लिए डिजिटल वॉलेट या QR कोड भेजे जा सकते हैं। पैसा मिलने के बाद ठग पीड़ित को ब्लॉक कर देते हैं। पुलिस ने चेतावनी दी है कि अनजान लोगों के साथ मोबाइल नंबर, फोटो या निजी जानकारी साझा करने से आगे ब्लैकमेल और धमकी जैसी समस्याएं भी पैदा हो सकती हैं।

पुलिस की लोगों से अपील

हैदराबाद साइबर क्राइम विंग ने लोगों से ऐसे संदिग्ध सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट से दूर रहने को कहा है। पुलिस ने विशेष रूप से युवतियों और अभिभावकों को सावधानी बरतने की सलाह दी है। पुलिस के मुताबिक, अनजान व्यक्ति से ऑनलाइन संपर्क करने, उससे मिलने या किसी भी तरह का एडवांस भुगतान करने से बचना चाहिए। यदि कोई व्यक्ति ऐसे फ्रॉड का शिकार हो जाता है या उसे कोई संदिग्ध पोस्ट दिखाई देती है, तो तत्काल शिकायत करनी चाहिए।

साइबर फ्रॉड की स्थिति में राष्ट्रीय साइबर क्राइम हेल्पलाइन 1930 पर संपर्क किया जा सकता है या राष्ट्रीय साइबर क्राइम रिपोर्टिंग पोर्टल के जरिए शिकायत दर्ज कराई जा सकती है।

प्रयागराज, उत्तर प्रदेश: उत्तर प्रदेश के मंत्री और बीजेपी नेता दानिश आजाद अंसारी ने रविवार को कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी के प्रयागराज में आयोजित छात्र कार्यक्रम को लेकर निशाना साधा। उन्होंने कार्यक्रम को “पूरी तरह फ्लॉप शो” बताते हुए आरोप लगाया कि राहुल गांधी लगातार युवाओं को गुमराह करने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं।

अंसारी ने कहा कि कांग्रेस की ओर से प्रयागराज में आयोजित ‘छात्रों की गूंज’ कार्यक्रम को लेकर बड़े-बड़े दावे किए गए थे और लाखों छात्रों के रजिस्ट्रेशन की बात कही गई थी, लेकिन कार्यक्रम में अपेक्षित प्रतिक्रिया देखने को नहीं मिली।

‘छात्रों के मुद्दों से ज्यादा राजनीतिक भाषण पर जोर’

बीजेपी नेता ने आरोप लगाया कि कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य छात्रों की समस्याओं को सुनने के बजाय राजनीतिक संदेश देना था। उन्होंने कहा कि राहुल गांधी लगातार युवाओं को गुमराह करने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं, लेकिन इसमें सफल नहीं हो पा रहे हैं। अंसारी के मुताबिक, “राहुल गांधी लगातार युवाओं को गुमराह करने की कोशिश में नाकाम हो रहे हैं। यह कार्यक्रम छात्रों से कम और राजनीतिक भाषण देने पर ज्यादा केंद्रित था।”

दरअसल, राहुल गांधी ने प्रयागराज का दौरा कर छात्रों से संवाद किया था। कांग्रेस की ओर से यह कार्यक्रम युवाओं से जुड़े मुद्दों, खासकर रोजगार और परीक्षाओं से जुड़ी समस्याओं को लेकर अभियान के हिस्से के तौर पर आयोजित किया गया था। हालांकि, कार्यक्रम के बाद बीजेपी और कांग्रेस के बीच राजनीतिक बयानबाजी भी तेज हो गई।

किरेन रिजिजू ने भी साधा निशाना

केंद्रीय मंत्री किरेन रिजिजू ने भी राहुल गांधी के प्रयागराज कार्यक्रम पर सवाल उठाया। उन्होंने कहा कि जब झारखंड में छात्र भर्ती परीक्षाओं से जुड़े मुद्दों को लेकर प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं, तब राहुल गांधी को प्रयागराज के बजाय रांची जाकर प्रदर्शनकारी छात्रों से मिलना चाहिए था।

मुस्लिम युवाओं को लेकर बीजेपी का दावा

दानिश आजाद अंसारी ने इस दौरान उत्तर प्रदेश में बीजेपी के मुस्लिम युवाओं के बीच संपर्क अभियान का भी जिक्र किया। उन्होंने पार्टी की तिरंगा यात्रा को इसका उदाहरण बताया।

अंसारी ने कहा कि मोदी-योगी सरकार मुस्लिम युवाओं को शिक्षित और सशक्त बनाने तथा उन्हें समाज की मुख्यधारा से जोड़ने के उद्देश्य से काम कर रही है। उन्होंने दावा किया कि लखनऊ की सड़कों पर इसकी तस्वीर देखने को मिल रही है, जहां 10 हजार से ज्यादा मुस्लिम युवा बीजेपी के साथ तिरंगा यात्रा में शामिल हुए। उन्होंने कहा, “आप देख सकते हैं कि मुस्लिम युवा किसके साथ खड़े हैं। मुस्लिम युवा हमारे समुदाय का भविष्य हैं और यह भविष्य मोदी-योगी सरकार के साथ खड़ा है।”

स्वतंत्रता दिवस से पहले तिरंगा यात्रा

बीजेपी की ओर से उत्तर प्रदेश के अलग-अलग हिस्सों में तिरंगा यात्रा के कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जा रहे हैं। पार्टी इन कार्यक्रमों को स्वतंत्रता दिवस से पहले अपने व्यापक राष्ट्रवादी जनसंपर्क अभियान के तौर पर पेश कर रही है। इनमें विभिन्न समुदायों के युवाओं की भागीदारी को भी प्रमुखता दी जा रही है।

रिजिजू ने कांग्रेस से मांगा था समर्थन

इससे पहले केंद्रीय मंत्री किरेन रिजिजू ने राहुल गांधी के महिलाओं की स्वतंत्र अभिव्यक्ति को लेकर दिए गए बयान पर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए कांग्रेस से महिला आरक्षण बिल का बिना शर्त समर्थन करने को कहा था। रिजिजू ने कहा था कि राहुल गांधी के महिलाओं को लेकर विचारों में सकारात्मक बदलाव दिखाई दे रहा है और उम्मीद है कि कांग्रेस अब महिला आरक्षण बिल का बिना शर्त समर्थन करेगी।

परिसीमन को लेकर क्या है विवाद?

महिला आरक्षण कानून के तहत लोकसभा और राज्य विधानसभाओं में महिलाओं के लिए 33 प्रतिशत आरक्षण का प्रावधान किया गया है। हालांकि, इसके लागू होने की प्रक्रिया को जनगणना और परिसीमन से जोड़ा गया है।

कांग्रेस और अन्य विपक्षी दल महिला आरक्षण के समर्थन में हैं, लेकिन वे आरक्षण को परिसीमन की प्रक्रिया से जोड़ने का विरोध करते रहे हैं। विपक्ष की मांग है कि महिला आरक्षण को जल्द लागू किया जाए और इसे परिसीमन की शर्त से अलग रखा जाए।

New Delhi, India: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Shahnawaz Hussain on Saturday accused the INDI Alliance of practising "double standards" by remaining silent on the ongoing student protests in Jharkhand while being vocal about similar issues in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.

Speaking to media, the BJP leader alleged that the opposition's concern for students is politically motivated and varies depending on which party is in power in the state.

"The country wants to know this, and the people of Jharkhand want to know this. They are practising double standards. Those who were making grand statements regarding Jantar Mantar are maintaining silence on the Jharkhand matter," he said.

Hussain questioned the silence of opposition leaders, particularly Rahul Gandhi, regarding the grievances of students in the JMM-led Jharkhand.

"The members of the INDI Alliance are completely ignoring the ongoing student protests. They make loud statements in Delhi, and Rahul Gandhi even wants to hold a 'Chhatron ki Goonj' (Voice of Students) event in Prayagraj, yet why do they remain silent on the issue of Jharkhand?" Hussain questioned.

Hussain further said, "The people of Jharkhand and the entire country are witnessing this," he added.

The remarks come amid protests which started in Jharkhand after the results of the 14th JPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination were announced on July 5, with aspirants alleging irregularities in the recruitment process. Since then, students have been holding round-the-clock protests and an indefinite sit-in, demanding transparency and accountability.

The protesters demand the cancellation of the Preliminary Test (PT) for the 14th Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) Combined Civil Services Examination and a review of examinations conducted through TDPL agencies.

Meanwhile, a designated delegation of the Student protestors in Jharkhand went to the Circuit House for dialogue with representatives of the Jharkhand Government regarding the demands of the aspirants.

Student leader Devendra Nath Mahto emphasised that the demands of the aspirants remain unchanged regardless of who sits across the negotiation table.

"The team has told us that we will go for a dialogue at the Circuit House at 10 am. Had the government agreed to our demands when the other students met them, then it wouldn't have been necessary for us to go as well. It doesn't matter how many of us go to meet them. All of us have the same demands, which should be fulfilled," he said.

The protesters at the Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium in Ranchi demanded cancellation of all JSSC CGL, JSSC JE, and PGT exams after 2019, a CBI investigation into the irregularities, strict action against the "mafias and agencies involved," disclosure of category-wise cut-offs (UR, EWS, BC-I, BC-II, SC, ST), OMR copies, and response sheets for transparency regarding the process and a recruitment calendar modelled after UPSC/SSC standards.

The JPSC JSSC Reform Manch, leading the protest, finalised an 11-member delegation to hold talks with the Jharkhand government over their demands. The delegation comprises eight student representatives, one lawyer and two technical experts.

While the Congress and the opposition parties have expressed support for the women's reservation bill, they opposed the delimitation exercise, seeking to increase the number of seats in the Lower House of Parliament. The Opposition has demanded delinking of women's reservation from the delimitation exercise.

The Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam, 2023 was passed in both Houses of Parliament, but failed to move ahead with implementation after the Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill fell in the Lok Sabha on April 17, not being able to receive the constitutionally required two-thirds majority of members present and voting.

The Bill was linked to 33 per cent women's reservation in legislatures and delimitation in the Lok Sabha. Earlier, Rahul Gandhi, in a video on social media, argued the "energy of India's women is trapped" and they should be allowed to express themselves in all spheres of life.

He said, "The energy of India's women is trapped. It is not allowed to express itself. It is not allowed to imagine. For me, no country can be successful if its women are not expressing themselves. And I think a lot of my politics, and a lot of what politics should be in this country, is about making people understand that our country is stunted and incomplete without the expression of women."

"It's not just them doing well in business or politics, but being able to express in their houses, walk the streets comfortably, them putting a point of view that many don't agree with, questioning their parents, husbands, brothers. A certain amount of freedom from patriarchy and the rigid control men put on women is required if India wants to develop. It has been assaulted and put in the back seat, and we have to bring back women into conversation and allow them to express," the Congress leader added.

नई दिल्ली: आम आदमी पार्टी (AAP) के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक अरविंद केजरीवाल ने केंद्र की एथेनॉल नीति को ‘खामी वाली’ बताते हुए इसके खिलाफ बड़ा कदम उठाने का ऐलान किया है। केजरीवाल ने कहा कि वह मंगलवार को करीब 100 लोगों के साथ प्रधानमंत्री आवास की ओर मार्च करेंगे और 2.33 लाख से अधिक लोगों के हस्ताक्षर वाली याचिका प्रधानमंत्री को व्यक्तिगत रूप से सौंपने की कोशिश करेंगे।

केजरीवाल ने सोमवार को मीडिया से बातचीत में कहा कि उनकी ओर से प्रधानमंत्री को संबोधित एक ऑनलाइन याचिका शुरू की गई थी, जिस पर 2,33,238 लोगों ने हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि मंगलवार दोपहर 12 बजे वह अपने कार्यालय से करीब 100 लोगों के साथ प्रधानमंत्री आवास की ओर रवाना होंगे। उनके मुताबिक, इस मार्च का मकसद प्रधानमंत्री को याचिका सौंपना और यह बताना है कि आम आदमी पार्टी एथेनॉल नीति को क्यों गलत मानती है।

E20 Fuel Policy के खिलाफ AAP का अभियान

केजरीवाल का यह प्रस्तावित मार्च केंद्र की E20 ईंधन नीति के खिलाफ AAP के अभियान को और तेज करने वाला कदम माना जा रहा है। E20 पेट्रोल में 20 फीसदी एथेनॉल और 80 फीसदी पेट्रोल का मिश्रण होता है।

केजरीवाल ने केंद्र के सामने इस मुद्दे पर तीन प्रमुख मांगें रखी हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि पेट्रोल पंपों पर लोगों को E20 और शुद्ध पेट्रोल में से चुनने का विकल्प मिलना चाहिए। इसके अलावा उनका कहना है कि E20 पेट्रोल की कीमत शुद्ध पेट्रोल से कम होनी चाहिए और पेट्रोल की कीमत 84 रुपये प्रति लीटर से कम रखी जानी चाहिए।

‘100 लोग साथ चलेंगे, पुलिस कार्रवाई से नहीं डरने वाले’

केजरीवाल ने कहा कि इस मार्च में बड़ी संख्या में लोगों के शामिल होने की जरूरत नहीं है। उन्होंने कहा कि वह अपने साथ ऐसे करीब 100 लोगों को लेकर जाएंगे, जो पुलिस की कार्रवाई या जेल जाने से डरते नहीं हैं। उन्होंने लोगों से अपील की कि जो लोग इस मार्च में शामिल होना चाहते हैं, वे उन्हें मैसेज या टैग करके अपनी इच्छा जाहिर कर सकते हैं।

E100 वाहनों को लेकर भी केजरीवाल की अपील

एथेनॉल नीति पर हमला बोलते हुए केजरीवाल ने लोगों से तब तक पेट्रोल-डीजल वाहन नहीं खरीदने की अपील भी की, जब तक देश में E100 ईंधन के अनुकूल वाहन तैयार नहीं किए जाते। उन्होंने कहा कि जब तक E100 वाहनों का निर्माण देश में शुरू नहीं होता, तब तक लोगों को नए पेट्रोल और डीजल वाहन खरीदने से बचना चाहिए।

AAP का कहना है कि उसका अभियान वाहन मालिकों को ईंधन के विकल्प और कीमतों से जुड़े मुद्दों पर राहत दिलाने के उद्देश्य से चलाया जा रहा है। वहीं, केजरीवाल के प्रधानमंत्री आवास तक प्रस्तावित मार्च पर प्रशासन की प्रतिक्रिया और आगे की कार्रवाई पर नजर रहेगी।

नई दिल्ली: संसद के मानसून सत्र के बीच सोमवार को विपक्षी सांसदों ने संसद परिसर में प्रदर्शन किया। इस दौरान समाजवादी पार्टी प्रमुख अखिलेश यादव और कांग्रेस नेता प्रियंका गांधी वाड्रा समेत विपक्षी नेताओं ने केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह की सदन में मौजूदगी और विभिन्न मुद्दों पर उनकी जवाबदेही को लेकर सवाल उठाए। विपक्षी सांसद संसद भवन के प्रवेश द्वार के पास एकत्र हुए और हाथों में एक बड़ा बैनर लेकर प्रदर्शन किया। बैनर पर लिखा था- ‘अमित शाह संसद से गायब क्यों?’ प्रदर्शन के दौरान सांसदों ने ‘अमित शाह जवाब दो’ और ‘अमित शाह कहां गायब हैं?’ जैसे नारे भी लगाए।

दिल्ली छात्र प्रदर्शन पर भी अमित शाह से जवाब की मांग

विपक्षी दलों ने 20 जुलाई को दिल्ली में हुए छात्र प्रदर्शन के दौरान कथित पुलिस कार्रवाई का मुद्दा भी उठाने की तैयारी की है। विपक्ष की मांग है कि केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह दोनों सदनों में इस मामले पर बयान दें। कांग्रेस सांसद केसी वेणुगोपाल ने कहा कि विपक्ष लगातार दिल्ली में छात्रों पर कथित लाठीचार्ज और गोली चलने के आरोपों को लेकर गृह मंत्री से स्पष्टीकरण मांगता रहेगा।

मानसून सत्र के 11वें दिन भी हंगामे के आसार

संसद का मानसून सत्र अपने 11वें दिन में प्रवेश कर चुका है। इस दौरान सत्ता पक्ष और विपक्ष के बीच कई मुद्दों पर लगातार टकराव देखने को मिल रहा है। प्रस्तावित FCRA संशोधन विधेयक को लेकर भी राजनीतिक माहौल गर्म रहने के आसार हैं। विपक्ष जहां दिल्ली में छात्र प्रदर्शन के दौरान कथित पुलिस कार्रवाई और राम मंदिर चंदे से जुड़े आरोपों पर सरकार से जवाब मांग रहा है, वहीं सरकार की ओर से इन आरोपों पर क्या रुख सामने आता है, इस पर भी नजर रहेगी।

New Delhi, India: The Opposition on Monday staged a protest in the Parliament premises, questioning the absence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah from the House and demanding his accountability on various issues. Gathering near the entrance of the building, the protesting members, including Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, displayed a large banner that read: "Amit Shah Sansad se gayab kyon?" (Why Amit Shah Absent in Parliament?)

The MPs also raised a series of slogans against the Home Minister and the ruling government, including "Amit Shah Jawab Do" (Amit Shah, give an answer) and "Amit Shah kahan gayab hain?" (Where has Amit Shah disappeared?).

The protesting leaders were also seen holding placards with the slogan "Chanda chor, gaddi chord" (Donation thief, leave the throne), targeting the government over the alleged Ram Mandir donation embezzlement case.

The Opposition is also slated to demand a statement from Union Home Minister Amit Shah in both Houses over police action on protesters during the July 20 demonstration in the national capital. The opposition will also raise the alleged Ram Mandir donation theft row.

The development comes at a time when, last week, Purnea MP Pappu Yadav sparked a controversy by imitating a priest and collecting donations while criticising the government over the alleged Ram Mandir donation theft row. The Parliament session also assumes significance this week following the alleged attack on Yadav in the national capital on Sunday.

The protest also comes as the Monsoon Session enters its eleventh day, amid speculation that the Centre may introduce the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA) Amendment Bill, setting the stage for another day of heated exchanges between the treasury and Opposition benches.

Speaking to media, Congress MP KC Venugopal said he was unaware of any move by the government to introduce the proposed FCRA Amendment Bill but asserted that the Opposition would continue pressing for the Home Minister's statement on the issues it has consistently been raising.

"I don't know whether they are introducing the FCRA Bill. I don't have any understanding about that. Let us see. We will raise the same issue of the Home Minister's explanation in the House... on the lathi-charge and the firing on Delhi students," Venugopal told ANI.

नई दिल्ली: बिहार के पूर्णिया से निर्दलीय सांसद राजेश रंजन उर्फ पप्पू यादव ने दावा किया है कि राम मंदिर से जुड़े कथित चंदा गबन के मुद्दे पर बनाई गई अपनी स्किट को लेकर विवाद के बीच उन्हें जान से मारने की कई धमकी भरी कॉल मिली हैं। पप्पू यादव ने दावा किया कि सोमवार सुबह से उन्हें चार धमकी भरे फोन आ चुके हैं।

यह विवाद संसद परिसर में राम मंदिर से जुड़े कथित चंदे में अनियमितता के मुद्दे पर विपक्ष के विरोध प्रदर्शन के बाद सामने आया है। पप्पू यादव ने अपने आवास पर हुई प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस के दौरान कथित हमले को भी अपने खिलाफ साजिश बताया है।

'आज मार देंगे' कहकर धमकी देने का दावा

मीडिया से बातचीत में पप्पू यादव ने दावा किया कि उन्हें फोन करने वाले कुछ लोगों ने खुद को विश्व हिंदू परिषद (VHP) और बजरंग दल से जुड़ा बताया। उनके मुताबिक, फोन पर उन्हें बाहर निकलने पर जान से मारने और माफी मांगने की धमकी दी गई।

पप्पू यादव ने कहा कि उन्हें समझ नहीं आता कि उन्हें किस बात के लिए माफी मांगनी चाहिए। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि राम मंदिर से जुड़े चंदे के मुद्दे पर सवाल उठाना किसी व्यक्ति विशेष का अपमान नहीं है, बल्कि यह आम लोगों की आस्था से जुड़े सवाल उठाने का मामला है। सांसद ने यह भी कहा कि धमकियों के बीच वह डॉक्टर से मिलने गए थे और उनकी तबीयत ठीक नहीं थी। उन्होंने कथित तौर पर धमकी देने वालों को लेकर भी तीखी प्रतिक्रिया दी।

राम मंदिर पर स्किट को लेकर क्या बोले पप्पू यादव?

पप्पू यादव ने संसद के बाहर अपनी स्किट का बचाव करते हुए कहा कि विपक्षी सांसदों ने राम मंदिर के चंदे से जुड़े कथित मुद्दे को उठाया था, लेकिन किसी व्यक्ति का नाम लेकर उसे निशाना नहीं बनाया गया। उन्होंने कहा कि इस मुद्दे को लेकर राहुल गांधी, प्रियंका गांधी और अखिलेश यादव समेत विपक्षी नेताओं की ओर से सवाल उठाए गए और उन्होंने उसी मुद्दे को स्किट के माध्यम से प्रस्तुत किया।

पप्पू यादव ने दावा किया कि उनकी प्रस्तुति मर्यादा की सीमा के भीतर थी और उन्होंने किसी खास व्यक्ति का नाम नहीं लिया तथा किसी के खिलाफ अपशब्दों का इस्तेमाल नहीं किया।

प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में कथित हमले के बाद पुलिस कार्रवाई

इस पूरे विवाद के बीच पप्पू यादव के आवास पर आयोजित प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस के दौरान कथित हाथापाई और हमले का मामला भी सामने आया। सांसद ने इस घटना को अपने खिलाफ 'जान से मारने की साजिश' बताया।

दिल्ली पुलिस ने इस मामले में दो लोगों की पहचान सुमित शर्मा और हैप्पी शर्मा के रूप में की है। पुलिस के मुताबिक, सुमित के पास कथित तौर पर चाकू था और उसे तिलक मार्ग पुलिस स्टेशन में हिरासत में लेकर पूछताछ की जा रही है। पुलिस के अनुसार, हैप्पी शर्मा की भूमिका की भी जांच की जा रही है। आरोप है कि उसने निर्दलीय सांसद की ओर चप्पल फेंकी थी।

जांच जारी

पुलिस सूत्रों के मुताबिक, सुमित की Medico-Legal Case (MLC) रिपोर्ट में घटना के वक्त उसके अत्यधिक नशे में होने की बात सामने आई है। हालांकि, दूसरे आरोपी बताए जा रहे हैप्पी शर्मा ने चाकू रखने के आरोप से इनकार किया है। उसका दावा है कि पप्पू यादव के समर्थकों के साथ बहस के बाद उसके साथ मारपीट की गई।

फिलहाल दिल्ली पुलिस पूरे मामले की जांच कर रही है। धमकी भरे फोन, कथित हमले और राम मंदिर चंदे से जुड़ी स्किट को लेकर चल रहे विवाद के बीच पुलिस सभी पहलुओं की जांच कर रही है। मामले में आगे की कार्रवाई जांच के निष्कर्षों के आधार पर होगी।

E20 Protest: तहसीन पूनावाला का दिल्ली पुलिस पर आरोप, बोले- बिना लिखित आदेश किया हाउस अरेस्ट

नई दिल्ली: एक्टिविस्ट तहसीन पूनावाला (Tehseen Poonawalla) ने शनिवार को आरोप लगाया कि केंद्र की E20 ईंधन नीति के खिलाफ प्रस्तावित विरोध प्रदर्शन से पहले दिल्ली पुलिस ने उन्हें ग्रेटर कैलाश स्थित उनके आवास पर बिना किसी लिखित आदेश के हाउस अरेस्ट कर दिया। पूनावाला ने 27 जुलाई को ऐलान किया था कि वह APJ Abdul Kalam Marg से Tees January Marg स्थित Gandhi Smriti तक अकेले मार्च करेंगे और केंद्र सरकार की E20 फ्यूल पॉलिसी के विरोध में दिनभर का मौन उपवास रखेंगे।

पूनावाला के मुताबिक, उनके घर से निकलने के निर्धारित समय से करीब 30 मिनट पहले, सुबह लगभग 9:30 बजे कई दिल्ली पुलिसकर्मी, जिनमें महिला पुलिस अधिकारी भी शामिल थीं, उनके आवास पर पहुंचे और उन्हें बाहर निकलने से रोक दिया।

तहसीन पूनावाला ने लगाए गंभीर आरोप

पूनावाला ने आरोप लगाया कि पुलिस ने उन्हें हिरासत में लेने का न तो कोई लिखित आदेश दिखाया और न ही ऐसा कोई दस्तावेज दिया, जिसमें कार्रवाई की वजह बताई गई हो। पूनावाला का दावा है कि पुलिस अधिकारियों ने उनसे कहा कि मार्च में हजारों लोगों के शामिल होने की आशंका थी, इसलिए उन्हें बाहर जाने से रोका जा रहा है।

एक्स पर साझा किए गए वीडियो में पूनावाला को एक पुलिस अधिकारी से कथित हिरासत को लेकर सवाल करते हुए देखा गया। उन्होंने कहा कि उनके पास कोई कागज या आदेश नहीं है और वह हाउस अरेस्ट में हैं। पुलिस अधिकारी ने जवाब दिया कि प्रस्तावित मार्च से कानून-व्यवस्था की स्थिति पैदा हो सकती थी और उन्होंने पूनावाला से सहयोग करने को कहा। पूनावाला ने एक अन्य सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट में यह भी आरोप लगाया कि उनके घर के बाहर मौजूद पत्रकारों ने उन्हें बताया कि इलाके में जैमर लगाए जाने के कारण इंटरनेट एक्सेस नहीं हो पा रहा था।

दिल्ली पुलिस ने मीडिया से बात करने से रोका- पूनावाला

पूनावाला ने यह भी दावा किया कि दिल्ली पुलिस ने उन्हें मीडिया से बात करने से रोका और चेतावनी दी कि प्रदर्शन में शामिल होने वाले लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया जा सकता है और उनके वाहनों को जब्त किया जा सकता है। पूनावाला ने आगे आरोप लगाया कि उनका इंस्टाग्राम अकाउंट भी कुछ घंटों के लिए सस्पेंड हुआ था, जिसे बाद में बहाल कर दिया गया।

E20 फ्यूल पॉलिसी के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन

पूनावाला ने यह सोलो मार्च तब घोषित किया था, जब कथित तौर पर पुलिस ने उनकी संस्था Team Bharat के 'Gaadi March' को 31 जुलाई को संसद तक निकालने की अनुमति नहीं दी थी। प्रदर्शन की घोषणा करते हुए पूनावाला ने कहा था कि अकेले पैदल चलना और शांतिपूर्वक बैठना किसी कानून का उल्लंघन नहीं है। उन्होंने कहा था कि वह उस जगह पर मौन व्रत रखेंगे, जहां महात्मा गांधी की हत्या हुई थी।

पूनावाला केंद्र की E20 फ्यूल पॉलिसी के खिलाफ अभियान चला रहे हैं और इस मुद्दे पर केंद्रीय सड़क परिवहन एवं राजमार्ग मंत्री नितिन गडकरी (Nitin Gadkari) की आलोचना भी करते रहे हैं। उनकी मांग है कि उपभोक्ताओं को सामान्य पेट्रोल, E5, E10 और E20 ईंधन में से अपनी जरूरत के मुताबिक विकल्प चुनने की अनुमति दी जानी चाहिए। उनकी मुहिम से जुड़े Team Bharat की प्रमुख मांगों में पेट्रोल पंपों पर 100 प्रतिशत पेट्रोल के साथ E5 और E10 ईंधन की उपलब्धता बनाए रखना भी शामिल है।

New Delhi, India: Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Saturday condemned the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam, in which two labourers working at a brick kiln were killed, calling the incident "shameful" and "inhumane".

In a post on X, the Wayanad MP said, "The cowardly terrorist attack that took place in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir, is extremely shameful and reprehensible. Identifying and killing two laborers working at a brick kiln is an utterly loathsome and inhumane act. No amount of condemnation for this can ever be enough."

Expressing solidarity with the families of the victims, Priyanka Gandhi said, "The entire nation's sympathies are with the affected families." The Congress MP also called for swift action against those responsible. "Swift action must be taken in the matter, and the terrorists should be given the harshest of harsh punishments," she said.

Meanwhile, the second non-local worker, who was critically injured in Friday evening's terrorist attack in the Kellam area of South Kashmir's Kulgam district, succumbed to his injuries on Saturday morning, officials said.

According to officials, the victim had been undergoing treatment at a local hospital after terrorists opened fire on non-local labourers yesterday. Despite the best efforts of the medical team, he passed away early this morning. With this, the death toll in the Friday attack has risen to two.

Following the incident, security forces cordoned off the entire Kellam area and launched a massive search operation to track down the attackers. On Friday, one non-local worker was killed after terrorists fired upon them in the Kellam area, police said.

Furthermore, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Kulgam district that killed a labourer from Chhattisgarh and said he has directed security forces to intensify operations and eliminate the terrorists responsible for the attack.

"I spoke with the DGP, Shri Nalin Prabhat and top security officials following the brutal terrorist attack in Kulgam in which a labourer from Chhattisgarh was killed. I strongly condemn this cowardly act. I have directed our security forces to step up their operations and eliminate the terrorists. J&K Police and Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched an operation to bring the perpetrators to justice. Another injured labourer from Chhattisgarh has been rushed to the hospital for urgent medical care. नई दिल्ली: 20 जुलाई को दिल्ली में हुए छात्र प्रदर्शन को लेकर सियासी घमासान लगातार बढ़ता जा रहा है। शुक्रवार को लोकसभा में नेता प्रतिपक्ष राहुल गांधी से जब दिल्ली पुलिस के घायल जवानों के परिवारों की प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस को लेकर सवाल किया गया तो उन्होंने तीखे अंदाज में पूछा—“आप BJP के हो क्या?”

इससे पहले दिल्ली पुलिस के घायल अधिकारियों के परिवारों ने शुक्रवार सुबह प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस कर 20 जुलाई की घटना के दौरान सामने आई परेशानियों और अपने अनुभवों को साझा किया। परिवारों ने घायल पुलिसकर्मियों के लिए न्याय की मांग भी की।

पुलिसकर्मियों के परिवारों ने सुनाई आपबीती

घायल दिल्ली पुलिस ACP की पत्नी ने कहा कि 20 जुलाई की रात जब उनके पति घायल हालत में घर लौटे तो वह पल उनके और उनकी दो साल की बेटी के लिए बेहद मुश्किल और डरावना था। वहीं, घायल दिल्ली पुलिस के एक सब-इंस्पेक्टर की बेटी ने आरोप लगाया कि प्रदर्शन के दौरान उनके पिता पर भीड़ ने हमला किया। उनके मुताबिक, बाद में उन्हें RML Hospital ले जाया गया।

उन्होंने दावा किया कि उनके पिता, जो भारतीय नौसेना में पूर्व Marine Commando रह चुके हैं, को जंतर-मंतर पर मंच के पास भीड़ ने खींच लिया था और उनकी जान को खतरा पैदा हो गया था। उन्होंने बताया कि उनके पिता अस्पताल में करीब चार घंटे तक बेहोश रहे।

‘ये छात्र प्रदर्शन नहीं था’

New Delhi, India: Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Friday retorted with "Aap BJP ke ho kya" when asked about a press conference being held by family members of Delhi Police personnel who sustained injuries during the clashes linked with the July 20 student protests in New Delhi

Family members of the injured police personnel, including an Assistant Commissioner of Police, a Sub Inspector and others, had this morning held a press conference, recounting their ordeal and appealing for justice.

The wife of a Delhi Police ACP who sustained injuries during the clashes said the incident had been traumatic for her family.

"The moment he returned home late on the night of July 20, injured as he was, was incredibly painful and traumatic for both my two-year-old daughter and me. I am accompanied here by other family members of Delhi Police personnel, and we wish to share our ordeal with you," she said.

The daughter of an injured Delhi Police Sub-Inspector also alleged that her father was attacked by a mob during the protest and said he was later taken to RML Hospital.

She said her father, a former Marine Commando in the Indian Navy, was "pulled by a rowdy mob and was almost lynched near the stage at Jantar Mantar" and remained unconscious at the hospital for around four hours.

A family member of another injured official said, "This was not a student protest; rather, there were mischievous elements who tried to sabotage and discredit the students' protest and shatter the dignity of Parliament."

She said the miscreants should be punished while genuine students should be let off after their records are processed.

The development comes a day after Rahul Gandhi demanded an independent, Supreme Court-monitored high-powered committee to investigate the alleged police action against student protesters.

He called for an impartial probe into the alleged use of force against students during the July 20 protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar.

Meanwhile, the political confrontation over the protests has intensified, with BJP MP Anurag Singh Thakur moving a privilege notice against Rahul Gandhi today over remarks made during the Lok Sabha proceedings on July 29.

Congress MP KC Venugopal said the party would move a privilege motion against Union Minister Jitendra Singh, alleging that he had "misled the House" by stating that no firing had taken place during the protest.

"Union Minister Jitendra Singh misled the House by saying that no firing was done (on protestors). Rahul Gandhi himself has shown the evidence of pellet gun, AK-47 being used...Union Minister Jitendra Singh misled the house. We will move a privilege motion against him," he told reporters.

"Our MPs are capable and will face it in the Lok Sabha," Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge said when asked about the privilege notice against Rahul Gandhi.

The MPs from various INDIA bloc parties gathered at Makar Dwar around 10:30 am, holding placards asking, "Amit Shah sansad se gayab kyun?"

This comes amid a political row over police action against students during the July 20 'Sansad Chalo' march in Delhi. The students at Jantar Mantar were protesting against the 2026 NEET paper leak on the call of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP).

Earlier on Wednesday, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge backed Leader of Opposition (LoP) Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi's demand for accountability, alleging that the BJP was responsible for a "lethal attack" on the youth.

In a post on X, Kharge said, "Pellet gun fire was used against our youth, against our students. Either this happened with the authorisation of Home Minister Amit Shah, or it happened without his top-down direction. Rahul Gandhi had alleged that Amit Shah was "either culpable or incompetent". He demanded an independent probe monitored by the Supreme Court. The opposition MPs also protested over the alleged embezzlement of donations at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on Thursday.

PIL in SC challenges Delhi Police's use of facial recognition, AI surveillance at Jantar Mantar protest

New Delhi, India: A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed before the Supreme Court challenging the Delhi Police's alleged deployment of facial recognition technology (FRT) and other biometric surveillance measures during the protest at Jantar Mantar, claiming that the exercise violates the fundamental rights to privacy, free speech and peaceful assembly guaranteed under the Constitution.

The petition has been filed under Article 32 of the Constitution by Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament A A Rahim through Advocate Subhash Chandran K.R. It has arrayed the Union of India, Delhi Police, the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), others as respondents.

According to the plea, since the commencement of a sit-in and hunger strike at Jantar Mantar on June 20, 2026, protesters, journalists and members of the public have allegedly been subjected to continuous biometric surveillance through CCTV cameras, drones, body-worn cameras, a mobile command vehicle, AI-enabled smart glasses and fingerprint verification systems.

The petition claims that the surveillance includes real-time facial recognition using the "Ikshana" vehicle and "AjnaLens" smart spectacles, as well as fingerprint matching through the NCRB's "Abhigyan" mobile application linked to the National Automated Fingerprint Identification System (NAFIS).

The petitioner contends that the surveillance has been undertaken without any statutory framework authorising such biometric monitoring of persons participating in peaceful assemblies.

It argues that neither the Delhi Police's standing orders governing protests nor the Criminal Procedure (Identification) Act, 2022 permits indiscriminate collection and processing of biometric data of peaceful protesters.

The PIL further alleges that Delhi Police's own Right to Information (RTI) responses show there is no specific legal framework governing facial recognition technology, that an 80% similarity score is treated as a positive facial recognition match, and that the technology was originally intended for tracing missing persons and identifying deceased persons rather than monitoring public demonstrations.

Referring to media reports and procurement documents annexed with the petition, the petitioner alleges that additional facial recognition units were installed around Jantar Mantar and that thousands of individuals attending the protest were subjected to facial recognition and biometric identification.

It further claims that participants were not informed through notices or signage that their images and biometric information were being collected, processed or matched against databases.

The plea also raises concerns regarding data retention and sharing. It alleges that there are no publicly disclosed policies governing the storage, processing, deletion or sharing of the collected biometric information, and claims that private vendors involved in supplying the surveillance systems may have access to sensitive personal data without any disclosed data-processing agreements.

Relying upon the Supreme Court's privacy judgments in K S Puttaswamy, as well as other constitutional precedents, the petition argues that the surveillance fails the tests of legality, legitimate purpose and proportionality.

It further contends that pervasive biometric surveillance creates a chilling effect on the exercise of the rights to freedom of speech and peaceful assembly under Articles 19(1)(a) and 19(1)(b), while also violating Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution.

The petitioner has sought a declaration that the indiscriminate deployment of facial recognition technology and allied biometric surveillance against persons participating in peaceful public assemblies is unconstitutional. The plea also seeks directions to restrain the respondents from deploying such technologies until an appropriate law authorising their use is enacted.

Additionally, the petition seeks disclosure of the technologies, databases and vendor arrangements used in the surveillance, deletion of biometric data of persons not connected with any cognisable offence from NAFIS, CCTNS and allied databases, creation of a mechanism enabling affected persons to access and seek deletion of their biometric data, and directions to private vendors to preserve, cease using and permanently delete any biometric information in their possession.

प्रदर्शन के दौरान इस्तेमाल हुई पैलेट गन पर विपक्ष ने मांगा जवाब

सूत्रों के मुताबिक, विपक्ष इस विधेयक या पेपर लीक रोकने के लिए कड़े कानून का विरोध नहीं कर रहा है, लेकिन वह छात्रों पर कथित पैलेट गन के इस्तेमाल और अत्यधिक बल प्रयोग को लेकर सरकार से जवाब चाहता है। सूत्रों ने कहा, "हम न तो पेपर लीक बिल के खिलाफ हैं और न ही इस पर चर्चा के। हम परीक्षा व्यवस्था को मजबूत करने वाले हर कदम का समर्थन करते हैं, लेकिन छात्रों पर पैलेट गन और अत्यधिक बल प्रयोग के आरोपों पर सरकार को जवाब देना चाहिए।"

छात्रों पर कथित पुलिस कार्रवाई को लेकर विपक्ष लगातार हमलावर

सूत्रों के अनुसार, लोकसभा में इस विधेयक पर होने वाली चर्चा में कांग्रेस की ओर से राहुल गांधी, के.सी. वेणुगोपाल, गौरव गोगोई और प्रियंका गांधी वाड्रा प्रमुख वक्ताओं के रूप में हिस्सा ले सकते हैं। गौरतलब है कि संसद के मानसून सत्र के दौरान छात्रों पर कथित पुलिस कार्रवाई को लेकर विपक्ष लगातार चर्चा की मांग करता रहा है, जिसके चलते कई बार सदन की कार्यवाही बाधित हुई। वहीं, केंद्र सरकार का कहना है कि यह संशोधन विधेयक पेपर लीक, संगठित परीक्षा धोखाधड़ी और छात्रों के हितों की रक्षा के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण सुधार है और सभी दलों को इस पर रचनात्मक चर्चा में भाग लेना चाहिए।

New Delhi, India: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Tuesday urged members to allow the House to function and build a consensus for taking up the discussion on the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026 at 2 pm, saying there had been an understanding among parties on the matter.

Addressing members during the morning sitting, Birla appealed for constructive debate and said Parliament should send a positive message to the country through dialogue. "Let the House function; let there be discussion and dialogue, and let everyone's views be expressed. Let a positive message go out to the entire country that discussion and dialogue take place in Parliament," the Speaker said.

He also informed the House that an understanding had been reached to begin discussion on the anti-paper leak legislation at 2 pm and urged members to cooperate so that the debate could proceed smoothly. Despite the Speaker's appeal, proceedings in both Houses witnessed disruptions during the morning session. The Rajya Sabha was adjourned amid sloganeering by Opposition members, while the Lok Sabha was also adjourned till 2 pm.

The developments come after the Opposition indicated its willingness to participate in the discussion on the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026, while insisting that the government respond to allegations of police action against students protesting over examination irregularities.

According to sources, the Opposition is not opposed to the proposed legislation or a discussion on strengthening safeguards against paper leaks, but wants the Centre to address concerns over the alleged use of pellet guns and excessive force against student protesters. "We are neither against the paper leak Bill nor against a discussion on it. We fully support any move to strengthen examinations, but we need an answer on pellet guns and excessive use of force against protesting students," sources said.

Congress is expected to field senior leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, KC Venugopal, Gaurav Gogoi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, during the Lok Sabha debate on the Bill, according to sources.

Parliament has witnessed repeated disruptions during the Monsoon Session over the Opposition's demand for a discussion on the alleged police action against student protestors. The government, meanwhile, has maintained that the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026, is a significant reform aimed at curbing paper leaks, organised examination malpractice and protecting the interests of students, and has urged all parties to participate in the debate.
