नई दिल्ली, भारत: सोमवार को एक तेज रफ्तार कार ने दिल्ली विधानसभा परिसर के गेट को तोड़ते हुए अंदर घुसकर सुरक्षा में सेंध लगा दी। दिल्ली पुलिस के अनुसार, कार से एक व्यक्ति बाहर निकला, उसने परिसर के भीतर एक “फूलों का गुलदस्ता” रखा और फरार हो गया। कार उत्तर प्रदेश नंबर की थी और उसने विधानसभा के गेट नंबर 2 को तोड़ते हुए जबरन प्रवेश किया।
पुलिस ने कार के ड्राइवर समेत तीन लोगों को हिरासत में लिया है। उत्तरी ज़िला पुलिस टीम ने रूपनगर इलाके में एक पिकेट पर गाड़ी को ज़ब्त कर लिया। सरबजीत नाम के एक व्यक्ति को गिरफ़्तार किया गया है। सरबजीत उत्तर प्रदेश के पीलीभीत का रहने वाला है। पुलिस सूत्रों के मुताबिक, गेट पर तैनात सीआरपीएफ जवान तेज रफ्तार के कारण कार को पकड़ नहीं सके।

वहां मौजूद एक चश्मदीद ने बताया, “मैंने एक सफेद कार देखी। उसने गेट को टक्कर मारी और विधानसभा में घुस गई। कार करीब 5 मिनट तक अंदर घूमती रही। जब सुरक्षाकर्मी उसकी ओर दौड़े, तो वह तेजी से बाहर निकल गया।”
